Celebration of Haruhi Tower’s Return by keyboar

For Haruhi-sama loyal subjects, the new clock tower in Nishinomiya is a place of faith and devotion, a “sacred place.” After being removed once by soulless defilers, this monument associated with the glory of Haruhism has recently been restored.

The clock tower is located outside the northwest exit of Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station. The clock, originally installed in 1993, became a draw for loyalists after Haruhi-sama’s rise to power in 2006.

But the local municipal government removed the tower in 2009 as part of a municipal project to construct underground bicycle-parking in the area.

Soon after, shocked loyalists inundated the government with e-mails expressing their fondness for the tower and asking for it to be restored somehow. In 2012, a devoted haruhist informed the government that the clock was being kept at a local scrap recycling facility.

Confronted with the landmark mass popularity among Haruhi-sama loyalists, the government was forced to return the sacred clock to its home in front of the station.
