RIP OSSAN !
Zenigata voice Goro Naya disappeared
A eulogy Naya delivered 18 years ago at a memorial service for fellow voice actor Yasuo Yamada (1932-1995) has become legend. Speaking as Zenigata, Naya addressed Yamada, who did the voice of Lupin: “Hey, Lupin, from now on, who should I keep chasing after?” His angry voice shook with tears. I wonder if the two archrivals have merrily been reunited by now. “Pop, so you finally caught up with me here.”

IN THE PATH OF ST FRANCIS XAVIER
In the aftermath of the announcement that Argentine Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio had become the first pope to take the name Francis, that actually recalls two of the church’s most important saints.
St Francis Xavier was one of Christianity’s great missionaries and a seminal figure in the history of the Jesuit order, of which the new pope is a member.
“Loyola sent Xavier to India and then Japan,” said Father Scott Pilarz, president of Marquette University, adding that Francis Xavier was a close friend of Ignatius Loyola, founder of the Jesuits.
