Krazy!
“Krazy! The Delirious World of Anime + Manga + Video Games,” at the Japan Society, addresses a vibrant chapter in the history of visual storytelling: a specifically Japanese set of approaches that has gained a worldwide following over the past two decades. Unfortunately it will not live up to its promise either for the uninitiated or for devoted followers of Japanese pop culture.

The Elitist Douchebags
Pardon my french, but I don’t give a rat’s ass. I can walk in there, wait scratch that, JP can walk in there and probably give an equal if not better speech about the evolution of “visual culture”. It’s as if this entire thing is purposely aimed towards these elitist douchebags who are completely ignorant of Japanese/American pop culture. I bet if you walked in asking “what are your thoughts about moe style anime” and they’d look at you like “What? Why aren’t you talking about 1980s OAVs and tv series like AKIRA!?” Oh and I have no doubt there would probably be some FAGGOT bantering about how fansubs are evil or something lol Not that anyone attending this would even know what a fansub is to begin with.
