ENOZ is the name of a band in The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi. ENOZ is seen performing in the episode “Live Alive” although two of its members were unable to play. The band only performs two songs, “God Knows” and “Lost My Music”, which were trimmed down as inserts.
The name ENOZ is homage to the once popular all-female band ZONE, which is ENOZ in reverse. Interestingly, ZONE also consisted of two guitarists, one bassist, and one drummer. ENOZ also mirrors the fact that ZONE disbanded after a majority of their members were about to graduate from high school.
