Captain Archibald Haddock (Capitaine Archibald Haddock) is a character in the comic book series The Adventures of Tintin by Belgian comics writer and artist Georges Remi better known by his pen name Hergé. He is Tintin’s best friend, a seafaring captain in the Merchant Navy or Merchant Marine.
